Goal

The Association for the protection of Children and individuals with disabilities is a private, charitable organization, specially recognized (Government Gazette 2393 / B / 2009), which hosts and cares for people with intellectual disabilities. It’s certified as a provider of Social Care Services (Government Gazette 836 / Β '/ 2012 and Government Gazette 1479 / Β' / 2016). The association is housed in 3 groups of buildings covering a total area of ​​ 6,000 sq2 within its privately-owned premises at 1 Melas street, Holargos, p.o. 15562. The Association for the Protection of Children and People with Disabilities is governed by its Statute, which is updated at regular intervals in order to adapt and respond to the conditions that are being developed.

The Association for protection of Children and individuals with disabilities operates in accordance to the general statute, is based in Cholargos, Attiki and specifically recognized as a non-profit organization based on Degree Law 11/72 and Framework decision  No. 3593/74 of the Hellenic Ministry of Health and Welfare (Government Gazette 1206 / 11-16-74).  Furthermore, the association is state registered as a Protection Center for people with special needs according to 10620 / 11-9-90 framework decision of the Prefecture  Eastern Attica - social assistance directorate. The above legal basis is completed by the PD 395/93 from the time the Day Care Center is authorized.

The Association for the protection of Children and individuals with disabilities provides treatment, vocational training and teaches the tools necessary for social integration to those in need.

Specifically, the primary purpose of the Day Care Center is to provide accommodation and support to people with special needs. Also, one of the goals is the vocational training and implementation of relevant programs co-financed by the European Union.

The main activity of the Association for the protection of Children and individuals with disabilities is directly linked to the national Charter and the public interest, given that what we do within our Association has direct reference to Article 21 of the Constitution. We contribute to the right of persons with disabilities to enjoy policies that ensure independence, occupational integration and participation in the country's social life.


The Association for the protection of Children and individuals with disabilities is a non-profit organization and its purpose is to provide in every legal way support, care and protection of all children and people in need.
